Ingredients

  • 1 tube brand name refrigerated crescent rolls (8 ct.)
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • pizza seasoning
  • 16-32 slices pepperoni I use turkey pepperoni
  • 4 string cheese cut in half
  • ¼ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375℉.
  • Unroll crescent dough, separate, and arrange on prepared pan.
  • Spread 1-2 teaspoons of pizza sauce onto each dough triangle and sprinkle with a dash of pizza seasoning.
  • Starting at the widest end, layer 2-4 slices of pepperoni on top of the sauce.
  • Place half of a string cheese on top of the pepperoni.
  • Starting at the widest end, roll up pizza crescent rolls to the narrowest end and then sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  • Bake on a prepared pan for 10 minutes or until cheese starts to ooze out of the crescent rolls and dough is light golden brown.
  • Serve warm and enjoy with your favorite sauce! Suggested favorites are warmed pizza or marinara sauce, or chilled ranch.

Notes

Less is more when it comes to the pizza sauce...a little bit is all you need, otherwise these can get quite messy!
Don't worry if some of the filling oozes out, you can just tuck it back in before serving.
Store in an airtight container and keep refrigerated. Enjoy within 3 days. To reheat, place in a preheated 300 degree oven, wrap in loosely tented foil, and bake for 5-8 minutes, or until heated through.
