Looking for a handheld pizza snack that's super easy to make and kid approved? Part mini stromboli, part pizza roll up, these savory and tasty Pepperoni Pizza Crescent Rolls are the perfect choice!

I mean, just look at all that gooey, melted cheese!
This recipe makes the perfect lunch, party appetizer, game day treat, slumber party nosh or late night snack. It was inspired by my Pepperoni Pizza Dip, which is always a crowd pleaser. If you're looking for an extra bite, both this recipe and the pizza dip go really well with Parmesan Herb Seasoned Pretzels (which also have pizza seasoning!).

🥘Ingredients
For a full list of ingredients and measurements, see the printable recipe card below
- Refrigerated brand name crescent dough- I recently tried Pillsbury's reduced fat for these and the pizza rolls came out great...we didn't miss the extra fat and calories!
- Pizza sauce- I typically use pizzeria style pizza sauce for this recipe because it's a little thicker and more flavorful
- Pizza seasoning- my fav is McCormick's Get a Pizza This! You can make this recipe without it, but it does add additional flavors that take these pizza roll ups to the next level.
- Pepperoni slices- I often use turkey pepperoni to save on fat and calories
- String cheese- Use your favorite mozzarella brand, or take things up a notch with pepper jack string cheese!
- Freshly grated parmesan cheese- provides a little saltiness and crunch on top
🔪Instructions
For a more detailed set of instructions, see the printable recipe card below.

💬FAQ
Croissants are a form of puff pastry, whereas crescent dough is a type of bread. I wouldn't recommend croissant dough for this recipe as it would be too much like eating a pastry.

This is my family's favorite game day/tailgate snack. Sometimes we use pepper jack string cheese instead of the mozzarella. We really like dipping these in ranch. The best!
Kitchen Ready Betty says
We love them with ranch too!

Thanks for the tip on using the low fat crescent rolls. I sometimes avoid eating them because I think they're high in fat for how little they are. I can't wait to try this.

They really taste good with the reduced fat. I feel the same way about the crescent rolls. Come back and let me know how you liked the recipe!
