Pepperoni Pizza Dip has all the best parts of a pepperoni pizza in warm gooey, cheesy dip form! Baked in a pie plate or baking dish, this super cheesy, savory layered dip is ready to become the star of your next party or tailgate!

baked

This flavorful pizza dip comes together in a flash. The only part you mix is the cream cheese base (which is super easy in a food processor). Then you sprinkle on the rest and bake.

What we like best about this crowd pleasing dip is that just like a homemade pizza, you can totally make this your own. Swap out the pepperoni for your favorite toppings, or add in your favs to make it taste just like your favorite pizzeria pizza!

Pepperoni Pizza Dip bakes to perfection in no time, and once it's on the table, it never lasts for long. No one can resist the gooey cheesiness. From tortilla chips to crispy fries, there is no wrong choice when it comes to your dipper with this one!

with fry

There's a cracker hiding under all that cheese in the above picture...can you find it? And yes, that bite was AMAZING...just like my Pepperoni Crescent Rolls--a favorite quick bite.

🥘Ingredients

ingredients
  • cream cheese-Philadelphia brand recommended; use full fat
  • Italian seasoning- may substitute with oregano
  • garlic powder- for added savoriness
  • pizza sauce- I like Prego Pizzeria Style; they make a bold and spicy version now that's also good in this recipe
  • turkey pepperoni slices- I like turkey for this because it has less fat and calories
  • shredded Italian cheese blend- Kraft's shredded Italian 5 cheese is a favorite
  • shredded mozzarella cheese- you can use two cups of this if you can't find the Italian cheese blend
  • freshly grated Parmesan cheese- choose refrigerated shredded in a bag or cannister, or shred from a block

🔪Instructions

proceesor
  1. Step 1: Process the cream cheese and seasonings until smooth; transfer to greased baking dish.

pepperoni
  1. Step 4: Top with pepperoni and bake.

Hint: Use a spatula to spread the cream cheese mixture so that it fully covers the bottom of the plate.

📖Variations

  • Meat lovers- add cooked sausage, ham, or bacon, along with the pepperoni
  • Very veggie- omit the pepperoni; add thin bell pepper strips, mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes; drizzle with ranch dressing before serving
  • Super spicy- use a spicy pizza sauce and add ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper to the seasonings; optional to also include thin jalapeño rings on top

🍽Equipment

  • 9 inch pie plate (lightly greased)
  • food processor or hand mixer & bowl
  • mixing spoon
  • measuring spoons
  • measuring cups
  • rubber spatula

🍶Storage

Store Pepperoni Pizza Dip in an airtight container and refrigerate. Enjoy within 3-5 days.

To reheat, cover with foil and bake at 300 degrees for 10 minutes or until heated through.

Freezing isn't recommended.

💭Top tip

Don't overbake the dip or the toppings will get too hard and crisp. When you see that the cheese is bubbling and slightly golden brown on top, the dip is ready to come out of the oven.

Prevent your screen from going dark

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Use a food processor or hand mixer with a bowl to whip the softened cream cheese. Add the seasonings and blend until fully incorporated. Then transfer this mixture to a lightly greased pie plate. Use a spatula to spread the mixture so that it fully covers the bottom.
  • Sprinkle on the shredded Italian cheese blend. Top the cheese with the pizza sauce.
  • Sprinkle on the mozzarella cheese; then add the parmesan. Arrange the turkey pepperoni slices on top.
  • Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
  • Let stand for 5 minutes and serve right out of the pie plate. Have your favorite crackers, pretzels or fries on hand and enjoy!
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate. Enjoy within 3-5 days.
  • Reheating instructions: Cover with foil and bake at 300 degrees for 10 minutes or until heated through.

Notes

I like to use Kraft's Shredded Italian Five Cheese Blend AND Shredded Mozzarella in this recipe, but you may choose to use just 2 cups of mozzarella.
You can use original pepperoni if you prefer. I think the turkey variety tastes just as good in this, plus it has less fat and calories.
Feel free to add additional toppings of your choice.
