Get ready for a fantastic, giant bowl of delicious, gooey cheese with Pepperoni Pizza Dip! Baked in a pie plate or baking dish, this super cheesy, savory layered dip is ready to become the star of your next party or tailgate!

pepperoni pizza dip

This flavorful dip starts with a bar of cream cheese, which gets blended with some seasonings to bring up the zest level.

That tasty cream cheese mixture is then spread into a 9-inch pie plate before being topped with multiple cheeses (because just one is no fun), pizza sauce and pepperoni.

Once Pepperoni Pizza Dip bakes to perfection within 20 minutes, it never lasts for long! No one can resist the gooey cheesiness. From tortilla chips to crispy fries, there is no wrong choice when it comes to your dipper with this one!

There's a cracker hiding under all that cheese in the above picture...can you find it? And yes, that bite was AMAZING...just like our Pepperoni Crescent Rolls--a favorite quick bite!

Why you'll love it

Easy to make: This dip comes together so easily. The only part you mix is the base. Then you sprinkle on the rest!

Crowd pleaser: Anyone who likes pizza will LOVE this. If they don't like pizza, well then, I feel sorry for them!

Protein packed: I'm not going to try to sell you on any nutritional benefits here, but if it makes you feel better, this is full of protein because of all that cheese!

Customizable: Just like a homemade pizza, you can make this your own. Swap out the pepperoni for your favorite toppings, or add your faves alongside the pepperoni!

For other game day and tailgating options (because it's always good to have more than one, right?), check out our delicious Pepperoni Pizza Sliders, Mini Pepper Pizzas, and Football Cheese Ball. They're always crowd pleasers!

pepperoni pizza dip ingredients

Ingredients

  • cream cheese-Philadelphia brand recommended; use full fat
  • Italian seasoning- may substitute with oregano
  • garlic powder
  • pizza sauce- I like Prego Pizzeria Style
  • turkey pepperoni slices- I like turkey for this because it has less fat and calories
  • shredded Italian cheese blend- this is where I can't skimp on fat and calories. Kraft's shredded Italian 5 cheese is awesome for this
  • shredded mozzarella cheese- you can use two cups of this if you can't find the Italian cheese blend
  • freshly grated Parmesan cheese- choose refrigerated shredded in a bag or cannister if you don't have time to do it yourself

  • 1 bar cream cheese Philadelphia recommended

  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Before starting:
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees
    Soften cream cheese on counter
  • Use a food processor or hand mixer with a bowl to whip the softened cream cheese. Add the seasonings and blend until fully incorporated. Then transfer this mixture to a lightly greased pie plate. Use a spatula to spread the mixture so that it fully covers the bottom.
  • Sprinkle on the shredded Italian cheese blend. Top the cheese with the pizza sauce.
  • Sprinkle on the mozzarella cheese; then add the parmesan. Arrange the turkey pepperoni slices on top.
  • Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
  • Let stand for 5 minutes and serve right out of the pie plate. Have your favorite crackers, pretzels or fries on hand and enjoy!

Notes

I like to use Kraft's Shredded Italian Five Cheese Blend AND Shredded Mozzarella in this recipe, but you may choose to use just 2 cups of mozzarella.
You can use original pepperoni if you prefer. I think the turkey variety tastes just as good in this, plus it has less fat and calories.
Feel free to add additional toppings of your choice.
