This candied nuts recipe hits the spot every time. Choose your favorite nut or nuts (we use peanuts, cashews, and almonds), and simply mix them with the delicious cinnamon and sugar coating. Then pop them in the oven.
The added bonus is that the house smells amazing (like a cinnamon-sugar wonderland kind of amazing) for the rest of the day after these bake in the oven!

Munch on them as is, or toss candied mixed nuts on top of your favorite ice cream. You could also add them to a yogurt parfait, cereal, or fruit bowl!
Just like Creamy Marshmallow Fudge and Peanut Clusters, this easy recipe is perfect for so many occasions--especially Christmas and Father's Day. After all, nothing says "I love you" like giving someone a tin full of tasty, cinnamon and sugar coated nuts, am I right?

- whole cashews, almonds and peanuts- these are my preferred nuts for this recipe; opt for lightly salted
- sea salt- this dissolves easier than table salt and mixes well
- cinnamon- I use ground from a bottle; for stronger flavor, grate cinnamon sticks
- sugar
- egg white- the binding agent that helps the sweet and salty coating stick to the nuts
- water

🗨️FAQ
Glazed nuts often have corn syrup and sugar (which creates that shiny glaze), while candied nuts use egg white and sugar.
That's only necessary if you don't plan on enjoying the nuts within 2 weeks. They will keep in the fridge for up to 3 months. You can also freeze them in proper packaging for up to 6 months.
When they first come out of the oven, they're a little soft, but as they cool, they will become crunchy and hard.
