Make your sweet tooth happy with this simple, 5-ingredient, Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe. This homemade confection is super creamy and indulgent, and is perfect for sharing during the holidays--or anytime you're craving a rich, peanut butter-y, sweet and salty treat.

This peanut butter fudge recipe, along with Creamy Marshmallow Fudge, is one of the easiest homemade gifts you can make. There's no stove or double boiler needed--just a microwave. The recipe comes together in a flash and sets in the fridge in just a few hours.
The only difficult step is slicing it into squares and not eating half of it before you fill up your holiday tins.
This easy fudge is dangerously good. It's rich and decadent, super smooth, and full of peanut butter bliss, just like my no bake Peanut Clusters. It really is impossible to eat just one square (or two or three....😉).

The recipe can be made as is, or you can add a personal touch by mixing in nuts, mini chocolate chips, Reese's Pieces, or another favorite accent before it sets.
Easy peanut butter fudge is gluten free, keeps well, and can also be frozen for later (see storage tips below)!

🥘Ingredients

- smooth peanut butter- creamy PB is easier to mix; I use Jif
- salted butter- I like sweet cream salted butter for fudge recipes
- pure vanilla extract- opt for pure over imitation for richness and best taste
- salt- only a little is used; I prefer sea salt because it's less granular than table salt
- confectioner's sugar- it's best to sift this before using in the recipe for a smoother consistency
See recipe card for quantities.
🔪Instructions

- Step 1: Melt butter and peanut butter in the microwave; add vanilla and salt; stir.

- Step 2: Fold in sifted powdered sugar; mix until thoroughly combined.

- Step 3: Smooth into prepared pan; cover and refrigerate.

- Step 4: Once fudge is set, cut into 64 squares.
Hint: Lining your pan with foil or parchment paper makes for much easier removal once the fudge is set. Use the foil or paper to lift the fudge out of the pan before slicing.
📖Variations

🍫Fudge Storing Tips
- This fudge recipe should be stored in an airtight container; keep refrigerated for up to 7 days.
- To prevent fudge pieces from sticking to each other, place parchment/wax paper in between layers. You may also choose to individually wrap pieces.
- If you don't plan on enjoying the fudge within 7 days, store it (or a portion of it) in the freezer.
- To freeze, wrap the fudge tightly as a whole block or in cut pieces in several layers of parchment or wax paper. Then place in an airtight container.
- If properly sealed, the fudge will keep in the freezer for up to 2 months. When ready to enjoy, take it out of the freezer and have it thaw on your counter at room temperature for a few hours.
💭Top tip
The mixture will be very thick. Make sure it's fully mixed before adding to the pan.
